Scott is currently a Partner at Lighthouse Capital Ventures.

Scott returned to Lighthouse in 2008 as a Senior Associate after completing his MBA at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

In addition to his MBA from Kellogg, Scott holds a BS in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Scott is also a CFA Charterholder.Scott is also a Co-founder of Ben's Friends (http://bensfriends.org/), a network of online patient support communities for people with rare diseases.

Yousuf mazhar

Yousuf is Vice President of Business Development for Spiracur, a medical device start-up in the Bay Area.

Yousuf has nearly 15 years of work experience in Venture Capital, Investment Banking, and Business Development working for firms such as De Novo Ventures, Kaiser Ventures, JP Morgan and UBS.

Yousuf received both a BS and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master's in Biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Science.

Rami is following his passion for music as a national sales manager at Pandora.

Rami Richards has stuffed over one hundred thousand conference bags in his lifetime. Overseeing meetings and events for over a decade for some of the world’s most prestigious financial institutions, Rami is intimately familiar with the event industry and the unwanted leftovers that often remain.  

Rami is married, with two children, and proud to call Oakland his home.


Samantha meyer

Samantha currently lives in Washington, DC and works as Field Manager for The ONE Campaign.

In this role she oversees campaigning in the Midwest in an effort to end extreme poverty in sub-Saharan Africa. Samantha also organizes ONE’s annual conference and, before working with Bags to Riches, was faced with storing the many leftover bags.

 A Chicago native, Samantha attended Michigan State University’s James Madison school of Public Policy and is a Midwesterner at heart.
